Today was such a glorious day! It started out with some rain and then it became sunny and warm at around noon! LOVING IT! I wish school was out though. I think I get out in about 12 days! (relaxed smile) :) The schools here in Madison get out on June 5th. Anyway, any of you loving the weather? Poor people in Antarctica or the North Pole . Not very many people live in one of those places most likely.
One thing that I did today that I have not done in awhile was sit up in a tree! Someone fell out of one of our trees last year about 15 ft high and an abulance had to come and stuff. He's ok but we just don't like to climb that high anymore. As I was up there It was so cool to lay down on a branch and look up as high as I could past the leaves. Sometimes in order to be with God we have to set aside time to ACTUALLY be with Him and hear His voice. It can be hard to set aside time when there are lots of things to be done. Don't you think we could give time to the one who made us, saw us before we were even formed, created the universe, and holds the world in His hands? I think YES! There are so many things that I learn just from having some time spent alone with God. Where is your quiet time? What is your favorite thing about it?

DeleteI have 2 more weeks of school! I'm so excited! The weather down here in AZ is actually really nice - the high is only like 95 and the mornings and evenings are HEAVENLY! :) It looks SO pretty in Ohio! I'm gonna have to send you some pics of the ironwoods trees at my house...they're SO pretty! :)

Oh I am with you there hannah! I love to climb trees, too! But as you know, there aren't many worth climbing here in CG! : ) So, I don't get to do it often. But my favorite thing to do to have a little peace and quiet is to grab a good book and sit up in a tree and read!!
ReplyDeleteThe trees here are really great for climbing. The bad part is that it is hard to get comfortable on a branch and read a book. So instead of that I lay down( Which is most likely a lot more dangerous. lol.)

Ralissa...the reason why everyone is negative is because there is so much to be negative about! And seriously, there isn't all that much to do here, so there is a lot of time to sit and ponder these things!

ReplyDeleteHannah...we have that one huge tree in our backyard that was the best climbing tree. And the Pruit's have some cute climbing trees. Rae actually got stuck up there once.... ;) Hahahaha it was sooooooooo funny <3 Buck had to get her down ;) We had so much fun with them that night! :) (That was a reallyyyyy long time ago though!) Hahahaha
