Just a saddle and a horse is all you need ; )

Yes, just a horse and a saddle is all that I need to make me happy! :) Give me the reins I am ready!  As you know I really love horses. God has opened the door for me this past week for me to be able to help out with Mrs. Pitchlers horses ( a lady from my church.). I prayed and asked God that I might be able to take some lessons or help someone who has them. God did!! I am going to go every Wed. and clean the stalls and exercise them for about two hours!  The horses names are Solo and Ashley! They are both very beautiful and gentle. I know that tomorrow I am going to be really sore. Well, I took some pictures and you will most likely see lots more in the next couple of weeks! I am glad that I still have my camera though. As we were riding I had the camera in my pocket and it fell out. I noticed it when we were done riding. Luckily it was only a few feet away. What would I do without my camera?  HAHAHA.

This is Spunky. He is so tiny and cuddly!
He rode with us to the park and enjoyed the long walk behind the horses.

                                                                   All ready! :)

                                                                   This is Ashley

This is Solo and Ashley munching on hay after the trail ride.

" Thanks for getting my good side."

                                                                          LOL!

    1. Hey Bre! I am riding western! Well, I am not really taking lessons. She is teaching me some things but, I am mainly going to help excercise the horses and stuff. Yes! When I trot I don't really think about it. I just kind of post naturally now! :)

    2. Neat! I love all of that stuff! Good! That is really great! I love to post! To me, sitting the trot is just...well...torture! But, then posting for long periods of time can be torture, too! : ) About 6 months ago, I began riding lessons again. I did it for about a month, but then I stopped(it wasn't really practical for right now). But when I was taking the lessons, she would have me ride nonstop from 4:00 to about 8:00! And obviously, I would trot for a good amount of the time, and therefore, I would be posting for long periods of time! So, needless to say, I developed some serious leg muscles! : ) And the horse I rode was like about 4 hands taller than Cupcake, so hoisting the 30lb. western saddle on his back was virtually impossible!! : ) At least for me it was. : ) So, I developed some arm muscles, as well! : ) Hahaha!

    3. Yes, sometimes I post and soemtimes I just sit while trotting. Ashley( the horse I ride.) has a really smooth trot.) You did? Where did you take the lessons at? Oh my! I go for a 2hr trail ride but I walk the horse for a little while. Did you ride more after riding from 4 to 8? I bet! Ouch! I can imagine you were very sore the next day...?? That is one big horse! Send me pictures of you! :) ;)
