Just a saddle and a horse is all you need ; )

Yes, just a horse and a saddle is all that I need to make me happy! :) Give me the reins I am ready!  As you know I really love horses. God has opened the door for me this past week for me to be able to help out with Mrs. Pitchlers horses ( a lady from my church.). I prayed and asked God that I might be able to take some lessons or help someone who has them. God did!! I am going to go every Wed. and clean the stalls and exercise them for about two hours!  The horses names are Solo and Ashley! They are both very beautiful and gentle. I know that tomorrow I am going to be really sore. Well, I took some pictures and you will most likely see lots more in the next couple of weeks! I am glad that I still have my camera though. As we were riding I had the camera in my pocket and it fell out. I noticed it when we were done riding. Luckily it was only a few feet away. What would I do without my camera?  HAHAHA.

This is Spunky. He is so tiny and cuddly!
He rode with us to the park and enjoyed the long walk behind the horses.

                                                                   All ready! :)

                                                                   This is Ashley

This is Solo and Ashley munching on hay after the trail ride.

" Thanks for getting my good side."

                                                                          LOL!

God's grace! Devo time!!

Before I get into detail on this little tiny devotion I just want you to know that God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Why? Because that's His nature! Wahoo!! :) I go to a camp almost ever year in Dayton, TN and the pastor says that saying and it reminds me that God is good in all things! :) I hope that you enjoy today's little devotion about Grace. What is it and how does it apply to you and me? Let's find out! :)

Grace is an unmerited favor. A favor that we don't deserve but God gives it to us anyway! WOW! Now that is love! I was reading in my bible ( I got a brand new pink compact one! I love it!)  and I came across Romans 5:20 " Now the law came in to increase the tresspass, but where sin increased , grace abounded all the more." Grace is something so sweet and something that we need almost daily. I thank God for giving us grace and for never failing us even when we fail Him! When we sin God forgives. He doesn't dump us off and hope that we survive. He cares. He really does!

Where sin runs deep

Your grace is more

Where grace is found

Is where you are

And where you are Lord I am free!!

Thanks for reading my tiny short devotion today! Enjoy this song and my favorite part of this song! Enjoy!!

Q&A: What does Romans 5:20 mean to you? Write down below and tell me!

Amazed by God's creation

Today was one of those days that I felt like snapping some pictures! It is 60 degrees and the sun is shining. The weather has been really weird lately. On Monday it was 84 degrees and last night it dropped in the low 30's. As I was taking pictures of flowers I was thinking of how they come and go. Just like problems that we have in life. They come and they go. They don't stay forever. Circumstances are put in our lives so that we may see who we are and who God is! The reason that we are here on this earth is to praise Him and glorify Him!

( If you want you can play the video while looking at the flowers. The video will not stop. :)

The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it.

Psalms 24:1

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

Ecclesiastes 3:17

When you leave this site I want you to know that God loves you so much, that He thought you were to die for!

Feeling hungry.....?

I am one of those people who love to cook! Things that take only a couple of ingredients and still taste yummy are the things that I look for when I make food! Here are two easy snack recipes that I am sure you will love! One is peanut butter cookies and the other is a double chocolatey chip frappuccino!

I went to Starbucks once and I fell in love with the double chocolatey chip. I knew that I couldn’t spend $3.75 for a tall drink every time I wanted one. So... I decided to search for one that I could make at home and make more than one serving. Here is the recipe!

Double chocolatey chip frappacino

Ingredients:
1 cup of milk (whole, reduced fat, or skim. For a special treat, add coconut milk)
1/3 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 cups of ice
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
whipped cream ( put as much as you want!! HEHEHE! Best part!!)

Blend all of this together in a blender, and put into cups. If desired you can add a drizzle of chocolate syrup over your whipped cream! Pick up a straw or spoon and enjoy!

Note: Now, this recipe can fill 2 cups but if you want more you can double all of the ingredients.

Peanut butter cookies

BEFORE YOU START: Preheat the overn to 350 degrees. ( I always forget.)

Ingredients:
2 cups of peanut butter
2 eggs
2 cups of sugar

  • Stir all 3 ingredients in a bowl.
  • Scoop out dough with a teaspoon or a tablespoon. (It depends on how big you want the cookies.)
  •  Roll into a ball and put a criss-cross pattern on the cookies with a fork
  • Put in the oven for 8-10 mins.
  • Let them cool for about 5 min.
  •  Eat them!! :)
I hope that you enjoy these delicious treats! :) Thanks for stopping in to read my blog today!

My precious furry baby!

Rosie is my very spoiled guinea pig! I don't know what spoiled in your definition means but to me she is very spoiled! She is 6 months old and I love her very much! I got her as my birthday present in December! We think that she was born sometime in October. She is laying on her side right now against the cage! Nap time!!! lol! She has little schedules, is potty trained and knows about 7 tricks! :)

When I was 6 or 7 my Mom said that I had enough money to buy a guinea pig but I bought a baby doll instead! I am glad I chose a baby doll then because I would not have Rosie now! I am so amazed at how God made each animal so special and unique and even knows the thoughts along with the likes and dislikes that an animal has! I am glad that He made Rosie! If you have a guinea pig, or like them you can tell me about him or her or what you like about them below. If you have any questions about guinea pigs and what they can eat and stuff you can ask me about that below too! Well, here is a video and pictures! Some of them are when  she first got home and the video that I posted is her right now!

                                                                   Piggy pockets!

                                                                 She loves her lettuce!

A day in the woods!

Laura ( one of my best friends.) let me spend the night at her house last night! I had such a great time! We went on a hike about 3 times while I was there! I was worn out! The river, flowers, waterfalls, and nature in and of itself was just so beautiful! It just reminds me of how big God is and how small I am and it makes me think.. why do I try to control things that aren't in my control? There was one big HUGE rock wall that we came to and I told Laura that it is awesome to know that God is way, way ,way bigger than that rock and He is so strong and mighty! He just amazes me in so many ways! I posted some pictures that I took!
